Our Mission

Niobrara-Verdel Presbyterian Church is a newly merged church within a newly formed parish, so we are still defining who we are as a church. However, we know we are committed to being faithful to our Lord and committed to proclaiming the Gospel in worship and through our lives and actions. We are committed to opening our doors and reaching out to people in need. We seek to display love for Jesus Christ through outreach to others. Our greatest asset is our people who are willing to offer their gifts and talents in ministry. We are small, but mighty. We have diversified talents to give in our service to the community and world, such as lay people trained in preaching, community leaders, compassionate people to head up social ministry, creative people to dream of ministry opportunities, and good cooks to provide fellowship opportunities for the larger community. We have always been ecumenical in our focus, and we hope our informality is welcoming to those who enter our doors.
